I arrived after a long journey to a warm and friendly welcome from Helen. She showed me around and gave me a choice of room. Each was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I felt immediately at home. A good choice on the breakfast menu, the full Irish hit the spot. A great location the main town of Boyle a 5 minute drive away , Sligo about 40 mins and Carrick-on-Shannon about 15 mins. I stayed for 6 nights and so would highly recommend a stay with Helen. Nothing was too much trouble and she is a truly delightful host.

Just like being at home. Clean, friendly, full breakfast menu and accommodations. Outside sitting area and large dinning room. Rooms are large with comfortable beds and crisp bedding.

My sister booked this, i was expecting a normal B&B, i couldn’t have been more wrong! this place is gorgeous! large modern rooms set to a very high standard, I was in a large family room, communal lounge area with nice fire, sofa’s, games to play. Literally at the entrance to Lough Key Park. Car parking no problem. But I have to mention the eggs!! Oh wow they were delicious soft boiled eggs for my breakfast, they were to die for! Others in my party had pancakes or a full Irish breakfast – everything was lovely! The owner was so helpful. I hope to visit again one day!! Thanks

This one is not in the centre of Boyle, but a bit to the east. Could be considered an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on personal preference.

Reception was great. We had a very large chamber, really. WiFi was over an open channel. Not enormously fast, but it sufficed. Eating suggestions were in an information booklet (but were also given by our host). Breakfast and shower were good and there was a common room for guests which was nice. All in all a real good experience.

The host offered us not only a warm welcome but also a wonderful breakfast! The B&B is located next to a wonderful park and has itself a very nice garden Regret not having stayed longer Felt like home and had a restful peaceful night Will keep the memory in my heart Hope to go back soon and for longer!!!

Stayed 2 nights in August 2016. This is a very restful and historic property. The Hostess is very welcoming and caring of your needs. And the support staff provides excellent breakfast service. Super comfy beds and very clean facility. Lovely gardens on site. The location is great for fresh air, and hiking in the Lough Key Forest Park. There is a Bog Garden hike to get lost in. The area attracts boaters. Nearby is village of Boyle Abbey site and town of Carrick-on-Shannon.

Stayed with my two children for a weekend. Could not have picked a better place: right beside Lough Key Forest Park, great food, excellent room, and Helen our host could not have done more for us. We will definitely be coming back.
